How to Set Up Router as Modem Mode?

Via computer/Laptop

1. Connect a computer or laptop to the Virgin media hub via LAN cable or SSID network.
2. Go in to the web browser, and enter IP address 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.
3. Press Enter button, and start the search, you will get to the login page of the router hub interface.
4. Here you have to enter the username and password to log in to the interface.
5. You can check credentials out in the user manual of the Virgin media hub router.
6. Enter the credentials, and click on the Login button, then you will reach into interface dashboard.

Here, you can adjust all the settings of the Virgin media router even set the router in modem mode.

• Go in to the settings> select management> enter to Modem mode> toggle the switch in front to Modem mode.

Via Virgin Media Connect App

1. Connect your phone or iPhone to the extender via SSID.
2. Open Play Store or App Store and download the Virgin Media Connect app.
3. Install the app and open it. In the app, you have to enter the Email ID and password.

If you don’t have any account, then you can Sign Up, by entering Email ID, Name and generate password.

• Next is entering the credentials and log in to the app dashboard.

1. You have to connect the extender to the router by using WPS button.

Restart

• The first way to reboot the device, you have to press the power button twice. Once will turn it off and twice will turn it off.

Reset

• Find the Reset button.
• Press and hold it for 5 seconds.
• Release it and reset process will starts.
